The Jews Do Not believe in the Trinity

The Jews do not believe in a trinity God! Ask any non Christian Jew, "do you believe God is a trinity". His answer to you will be NO! The Jews have Never believed that God was a trinity. The Prophets of the Old Testament did not believe that God was three persons. The twelve Apostles did not believe that God was a trinity. All the Apostles and Prophets in the Bible were all Jewish and they did not believe in a trinity God!

Sure, if you are trinitarian, you are disagreeing with me. The only part you have to agree with me on is that the Jews of today do NOT believe that God is a trinity. My question for you is, if God is a trinity (three persons) than when did the Jews stop believing that God was three persons and adopt the idea that God is one and only one?

The Jews still believe what they have always believed, including the Apostles and Prophets of old, that God is ONE. God is one in number, one in person.

Deut 6:4
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Zech 14:9
9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Mark 12:29
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Eph 4:5
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

The Bible does NOT say that God is three persons, not once. Misunderstand it, misconstrue it as you will. The Jews are correct that God is one and not three persons.

Where the Jews and trinitarians are wrong is that the one God of the Bible came in flesh. He did not send a different person to die for us. It was He himself that came in flesh. We call that flesh the Son of God because He was born. He was born in Bethlehem, that was the beginning of the Son of God. The Bible not once says that the Son of God is eternal. Jesus is Jehovah manifest in the flesh.

1 Tim 3:16
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

It was Jehovah God of the Old Testament that came in flesh.

Matt 1:23
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Who was that baby in the manger? God with us!
Who was that one that raised the dead? God with us!
Who was that one that multipled the fish and loaves? God with us!
Who was that one that forgave sins? God with us!
Who was that one that died on a cross? God with us!

Stay with your Roman Catholic teaching if you want to but God is requiring of you TRUTH!

Do I have to Speak in Tongues?

Someone once asked the question, "do I have to speak in tongues to go to Heaven?" This question arises from a misunderstanding about tongues. The question should be "do I have to have the Holy Spirit to go to Heaven?" The Holy Spirit is a "gift" from God to whosoever will. Speaking in tongues is the sign and evidence that one has received the Holy Spirit!

Many ministers (most of who do not speak in tongues) teach that tongues is just another "gift". These ministers don't understand that there are different purposes of tongues, not just for a public speaking out for an interpretation to follow.

In the passage of scripture to follow I will show you that it is possible to be a "believer" and NOT have the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Acts 19:1-7
19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
7 And all the men were about twelve.

This event took place about twenty years after the day of Pentecost referenced in Acts chapter 2. Twenty years after the initial outpouring of the Holy Ghost in Acts 2 we find people receiving the Holy Spirit with tongues as the sign and evidence!

"Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed" was the question Paul asked these 12 believers. Are you a believer? Have you received the Holy Ghost with tongues? If you have nor received this wonderful experience, it is for you!

Acts 2:39
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Yes, this promise of the indwelling Spirit of God is for you! The sign and evidence of the Holy Ghost is tongues! God chose this miraculous event so that YOU cannot take glory for it! If you have not spoke in tongues you do NOT have the Holy Spirit!

The Apostle Paul recognized these 12 men as believers and disciples but also instructed them to receive the Holy Spirit. Being a believer is not enough. You must be born of the water and Spirit as Jesus taught in John 3:3, 5.

The Plan of Salvation

Acts 2:38
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

God made it easy to get saved! Three simple steps. First you must repent of your sins. After repentance you can be born again of the water and of the Spirit as Jesus said in John 3:5.

  1. Repent - Be sorry of your sins and turn from your sin toward God with all of your heart trusting in Him.
  2. Water Baptism - You must be water baptized by immersion with the name of Jesus Christ spoken over you. Without this there is no remission (forgiveness) of sins. The blood of Christ is applied to your life at the time of baptism when the name of Jesus is invoked. This is the water birth Jesus mentioned in John 3:5.
  3. Holy Ghost - The Holy Ghost is what seals your salvation. You must receive this wonderful gift from God to be sealed. This is the Spirit birth Jesus spoke of in John 3:5. When you receive the Holy Spirit you will speak with tongues. Tongues is another word for languages. Tongues is the sign God chose that a person has been born of the Spirit. When you receive the Holy Ghost the Spirit of the almighty God comes in and inhabits your body. Your body then becomes a temple of the Holy Ghost.

When you have taken these three easy steps then and only then you can say you are born again and you have fulfilled John 3:5! There is NO other way to be saved. Don't accept anything less than what Jesus said do.

John 3:5
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Jesus Christ, the One True God

In this teaching you will find proof that Jesus Christ is the one true God of the Old Testament. Jesus is not a part of God. He is not one person of three but he is God Himself manifested in the flesh.

The teaching of the trinity is a teaching that "God is three persons". The Godhead is clearly seen and understood through the teachings of the Apostles and Prophets..

Rom 1:20
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Why do most trinity preachers say that "we cannot really understand God. It is not meant for us to understand Him."

Is that what Paul said in Romans chapter one?

Some are saying that Jesus is in the Godhead. Is He? Is that what the Bible says?

Col 2:9
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

The Godhead is in Jesus. Jesus is not in the Godhead! The fulness of God is in Jesus Christ! Everything Jehovah was in the Old Testament, Jesus is in the New Testament!

Where Was the Son When the Father Created the World?

The trinitarians believe that the son of God was a separate person at the time of the creation of the world. Is this correct? Was there two at the beginning of all things? Watch it, the Holy Spirit may get jealous. He is never mentioned as being on the throne with the other two "persons". Was there two or three on the throne?

Isa 44:24
24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

This verse is very clear of the fact that God the Father was "alone" and "by Himself" at the creation, the beginning of all things. Here is a question for you. How could the Father be alone and by Himself and have a another "person" of God there with Him? If they are separate persons as the argument is, then you cannot say they are one. If they are truly separate from each other as the trinity doctrine teaches then we must have one, no two persons (son of God, Holy Spirit) in the trinity unaccounted for in this passage in Isaiah!

Was the Father alone or not? The incorrect answer will cause you to be lost forever!

Gen 1:26
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Wow, what do we do with this statement by God the creator? Let us answer it with more scripture.

Gen 1:27
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Matt 19:4
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

Did you notice something. I did what you and everyone including God does from time to time. What is that? Answer a question or make a statement in the "plural". I said "Let us answer it with more scripture". Was that wrong of me to do that? Does that mean I am three persons? I am made in God's image. One person with different manifestations of titles.

Why don't the advocates for the Roman Catholic trinity ever mention verse 27 in Gen. chapter one? Verse 27 tells us what the one God did. He, singular created them, plural. Do you get it?

Do you study to prove something or to learn the truth?

Matthew records the event in chapter 19. The singular God made male and female!

Why does the trinitarian see more than one on the throne but the Apostle John only saw the one singular God who is Jesus Christ on the throne?

Rev 4:2
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

John 1:10
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Wonderful news! Jesus Christ was alone as God at the creation and came among us as the creator in flesh to die for our sins!

Historical Proof The Early Church Did Not Baptize in The Triune Formula But in The Name of Jesus Christ

Here is historical proof that the early church in the Bible only baptized in the name of Jesus and not in the truine formula. The Trinity baptism did not start until the apostasy of the church in the 3rd century bugun by the Catholic church.

THE ENCYCLOPEDIA BIBLICA, volume 1, 1899 edition, further supports the “Jesus Name” baptism as the original form: “...From these passages, and from Paul’s words in I Corinthians 1:13 (“Was Paul crucified for you, or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? “) It is natural to conclude that baptism was administered in the earliest times “in the name of Jesus Christ,” or in that “of the Lord Jesus.” This view is confirmed by the fact that the earliest forms of baptismal confession appear to have been single, not triple, as was the later creed” Page 473.

This encyclopedia continues on the subject of the baptismal formula expounding on Paul’s encounter with the Ephesian disciples of John (Acts 19) who stated, “We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost” and also on Paul’s question to the disciples, “Unto what then, were ye baptized?”“...Accordingly, Paul’s question simply implies that Christian baptism could scarcely have been given without some instruction as to this gift which was to follow it. In any case, it would be exceedingly strange that at this point Luke should not have referred to the three-fold formula, had it been in use, instead of simply saying, “When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.” (Acts 19:5) Page 474

ENCYCLOPEDIA BIBLICA, volume 1, page 473, 1899 edition. Under formula: “In the Name of Jesus Christ or of the Lord Jesus. The former expression is used in Acts 2:38 and 10:48. The latter is used in Acts 8:16 and 19:5. See also Acts 22:16...From these passages, and from Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 1:13 (Was Paul crucified for you, or were you baptized in the name of Paul?”), it is natural to conclude that baptism was administered in the earliest (times “in the Name of Jesus Christ,” or in that “of the Lord Jesus.” This view is confirmed by the fact that the earliest forms of the baptismal confession appear to be single—not triple, as was the later creed The Bible teaches only baptism in the Name of Jesus. Acts 2:38; 4:10- 12; 8:16; 10:47-48; - 19:3-6; 22:16; Colossians 3:17; Luke 24:46-47. This page also states:
“IT IS NATURAL TO CONCLUDE THAT BAPTISM WAS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, OR LORD JESUS.”

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA, VOLUME 8
“Justin Martys was one of the early Fathers of the Roman Catholic Church who helped change the ancient baptism of “in the Name of Jesus Christ” to the titles of Father, Son and Holy Ghost”

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA, 1967 edition, volume 2, pages 56, 59.
“An explicit reference to the Trinitarian formula of baptism cannot be found in the first centuries.”

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEIA, 1913 edition, volume 2, Page 265:
“They acknowledge that the original formula for baptism was in the Name of Jesus, but the pope changed it.”

ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RELIGION AND ETHICS Scribner‘s T & T Clark, Edinburgh, 1924, vol 1 Page 380
“Christian baptism,  when connected with the mention of a formula, is alluded to four times in the Acts (2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5) and the formula is never that of (Matthew 28:19) but is twice in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38, 10:48) and twice in the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 8:16, 19:5). That this was the usual formula of Christian baptism is supported by the evidence of the Pauline Epistles, which speak of being baptized only into Christ or into Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:27, Romans 6:3). Is it possible to reconcile these facts with the belief that Christ commanded the disciples to baptize in the trine name? The obvious explanation of the silence of New Testament on the trine name, and the use of another formula in Acts and Paul is that this other formula was the earlier, and that the trine formula is a later edition. It would require very strong argument to controvert this presumption, and none seems to exist”.

AN ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RELIGIONS - Maurice Canney, page 53.
“Persons were baptized at first “in the name of Jesus Christ” (Acts 2:38, 10:48) or “in the name of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 8:16, 19:5). Afterwards, with the development of the doctrine of the Trinity, they were baptized “in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost”

EARLIEST CHRISTIANITY- .J. Weiss, Published 1959, volume 2, page 633.
“However little we may know of the liturgical form of the old celebration of baptism, yet it is clear that it involved uttering the name of Christ in a vigorous, expressive manner, probably by the baptizer, possibly also by the baptized person.”

ANCHOR BIBLICAL DICTIONARY volume 1, page 586
“But the role of Jesus Christ and the Christ - even necessitated its becoming a baptism ‘into the name of the Lord Jesus” or something similar.
“INTO THE NAME OF JESUS.”  It is relatively certain that in the early Church one commonly referred to baptism as being done “into the name of the Lord Jesus” or something similar. One strange thing with this phrase is that the construction in what seems to be its earliest form. viz. into the name of..” (Greek eis to onoma” was not otherwise used in normal Greek, except for the language of banking, in which it referred to the account/name “into” which a sum of money was placed

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA, 1913 EDITION.
“There has been a theological controversy over the question as to whether baptism in the name of Christ only was ever held valid. Certain texts in the New Testament have given rise to this difficulty. Thus St Paul (Acts 19 commands some disciples at Ephesus to be baptized in Christ’s Name: “they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.” In Acts 10 we read that St Peter ordered others to be baptized “in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ”. Those who were converted by Philip (Acts 8 “were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ”, and above all we have the explicit command of the Prince of the Apostles: “Be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins” (Acts 2:38). Owing to these texts some theologians have held that the Apostles baptized in the name of Christ only

THE BEGINNINGS OFCHRISTIANITY—page 126
“Heitmuller believes that James 2:7…. is a specific reference to those who have had the name ‘Jesus’ pronounced over them in baptism....”

Why follow the Roman Catholic church in baptism? Shouldn't the true church follow the baptismal formula set forth by the original twelve Apostles?

The Gospel

When Jesus and His disciples began to preach that you must obey the Gospel, what did they mean?

The Gospel is the "good news". What is the good news? The good news is that Jesus 1. died 2. was buried and 3. he rose from the dead!

How does one obey the "death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ?"

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
1. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2. By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Again, how does one obey the Gospel?
1. Christ Died = We must die to sin through repentance.
2. Christ was buried = We must be buried with Him by water baptism in His name (Jesus Christ).
3. Christ rose from the dead = We must receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking with tongues.

The man with the keys to Heaven Peter said it this way.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Three easy steps to be born again 1. Repent of your sins. 2. be water baptized (immersed) with the name of Jesus Christ invoked. 3. Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with tongues.

Many people do not understand that the Book of Acts is the first New Testament book. The book of Matthew is the first book in our New Testament but Acts is the first book that gave record of New Testament era! How do we know this? Do you remember when Jesus healed the leper? He said to him "go show yourself to the priest and offer the offering that Moses commanded." He said this because they were still under Old Testament era. They were still sacrificing animals.

Many ask about the thief on the cross. He was saved but not water baptized and did not speak with tongues. This is true but that was under Old Testament era! The man did not have the command by Peter to obey. It was given after Jesus ascended to Heaven. You cannot obey a command that is not given!

Everyone after the death of Jesus is under New Testament era and must get saved the same way, by being born of water and Spirit, John 3:5, Acts 2:38.

Believing in this era is no longer enough, you must obey the Gospel!
