Three Persons, Three Lords and Three Gods
The reason people continue to insist upon three people in the Godhead is that they do not understand the dual nature of Christ. On this blog you can find one of my studies entitled “the dual nature of Christ”.
It amazes me that people choose to run with the Popes of Rome of whom never had a revelation of God and were never born again. These same preachers and believers believe that God is three persons as the Roman Catholic church has taught for 1,800 years. What most people don’t know, it was a Pope from Rome who changed the water baptism in the 3rd century from “in the name of Jesus Christ” to “in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit”.
It was at the Nicene Counsel of the Roman Catholic church in 325 AD that the teaching of the trinity came about. In the first two centuries after Jesus ascension you cannot find any teachings of Jehovah God as being a trinity. The teaching came about by a backslidden church that began to compromise with the local pagans to bring about religious harmony. The local pagans worshiped multiple Gods by many names. For an example, the mother and child worship (Mary and Jesus) is centuries older than Mary herself. Look in your history and you will see pictures of statues that have been excavated of a woman holding a child. These are much older than 2,000 years! Again the pagans and backslid church of the day both compromised there standards. Of course the pagans were already lost so there compromise did not hurt them any worse. The sad part is that the church was falling further and further from many truths originally held by the early church. This falling away was spoken of by Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3
2 Thess 2:3
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

This falling away of the church was yet to happen and as we can see the Apostle Paul had revelation of it. Much of the church forsook the teaching of the “oneness” of God and water baptism “in the name of Jesus Christ” in the 2nd and 3rd centuries. Do a google search “Nicene Counsel 325 AD”. You can read all about it.
Let me show you why this teaching is so wrong…
The Trinity in a nutshell is “God in three separate persons, all three are Lord and all three are God”.

The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three separate Lords and
The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three separate Gods!
The end result of this pagan teaching is that God is three separate persons, three separate Lords and three separate Gods. This is complete heresy!
Everything that I have written here is documented history. The Roman Catholic church admits to having changed the teachings of baptism and the Oneness of God. They admit it and it is in their encyclopedias! They know they did it and don’t deny it. The secular encyclopedias also verify that truth.
Rev 18:4
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.KJV
Part of chapters 17 & 18 in Revelation is about the coming Roman Catholic church. God is saying “come out of her my people”. Look in your history and you will find where the church of Rome has murdered an estimated 68 million Christians that believed in the oneness of God and were baptized in Jesus name. Google it, it’s their!
The Pope in 1962 at the Vatican Counsel said “we the Mother church are opening our arms for all of our daughters to return home”. Every person that has been baptized in the triune formula is part of the the Roman catholic church. The Pope claims you. You came out of the Catholic church by means of the Reformation. The only church the Popes will not claim is the church that baptizes in Jesus name and believes in the oneness of God.
The true Apostolic church did not come out of the reformation but existed even before the catholic church. The true Apostolic church was founded by the Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Come out of the Trinitarian teachings, forsake them and cleave only to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and his twelve apostles.
You should be ashamed of yourself. Here is what I actually said,
"And the mis-interpretation of Jesus words to Nathaniel that 'if you've seen me you have seen the Father' is getting rather boring. You actively ignore the preceding and the following verses and deny the proper context. The obvious idea inherent in the whole matter is that Jesus is allowing them to see that He and the Father are in perfect harmony with one another."
Your harping on the so called 'dual nature of Christ' and implying that only such as yourself can understand it still does not alter the facts that God is the what and the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are the who.
The Pope has nothing on Oneness ministers and their loyalty to their own poor teachings.
God help them both, the house divided will not stand.

Ashamed of myself? I could be, but I am not! I have read the passage, I am not sure about you. I at least know to whom Jesus was speaking to there. in John 14.9. It was Philip not Nathaniel! Is Nathaniel even in this chapter?
I don't misquote it. You misunderstand it! Jesus the father in flesh. If He is not, then He is a liar! He claims to be God in many passages. This blog is dedicated to that. I am sorry that somehow you miss that.
Your trinity Sir, is the same as the Popes trinity, there is no difference. If there is, to this point you have not made a differentiation. If your trinity and the Roman Popes trinity are different please tell us.
The fact about the dual nature of Christ is that YOU do not get it. That is why you believe that God is three persons. You count manifestations and say they are persons. If you have three persons you have three Gods! Yes, you are a multiple God worshiper as Constantine was in the 3rd century. You cannot deny the facts that are in history as I claimed earlier about the Pope changing the baptism, etc.
Rome will burn to the ground according to Revelation. Rome is the seat of Satan. God will destroy this city where Satan controls most of the Christian church world. God hates, not people but false doctrine. God hates false teachings about himself! The trinity doctrine has no truth in it. If you have the titles in your baptism you then are a daughter of Rome! Read about the "mother" in Revelation 17. Every mother has at least one child. Your trinity baptism ties you to the mother church of Rome that God himself will judge with fire and fury.
Remember, "Come out of her my people..."

My mistake was in trusting my memory instead of actually copying the passage. That minor error is nothing compared with the errors Oneness teachers are perverting the dull in the the church with as they manipulate scripture.
Your Jesus is not even alive anymore, He morphed into someone else. My Jesus, the one the Bible teaches clearly on, is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High and He is also the Jesus who is coming back to judge the quick and the dead.

Jesus is still alive Mr. Earl and He did not morphed into someone else. He is the same everlasting father in Isaiah, He is the manifestation of God in the flesh in Timothy, He is the Lamb and the High Priest at the same time (Hebrews), the Root and Offspring of David at the same time (Revelation), He is First(not a second person in Romes' and your trinity)and the Last at the same time. It would be ignorant for you not to understand that He is the Father and the Son at the same time.
If the gospel be hid it is hid to those who are lost. Obey ACTS 2:38!

In order for Jesus to be the Father one must, and I mean actually must, throw out many rules of grammar. Pronouns and nouns become meaningless and end up as tools of whosoever has the desire to twist scripture to build perverted doctrine.
In John 17 the distinction is so clearly made that the Father and the Son are two separate personalities and done numerous times I am amazed at the hardness of heart of Oneness proponents who can read this and still adhere to their false heretical view of the God-head. As I said before I say again. Your Jesus is not seated on the throne at the right hand of God, he does not exist. Your loyalty to a false image of God hinders you in growing as a Christian.
I obeyed Matthews words that said we are to be baptized in the manner that honors the God-head in toto. All three are at work in the redemption of men. Why Jesus said one thing and the disciples did it another way can be debated but both are post resurrection and valid whether you like it or not.
And that is writing the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Mr. Earl, In a Kingdom there is one King, The Jews believe in one God, Deut6:4 'Hear O Israel: the Lord Our God is one Lord. John 14:6 JESUS said ' I am the way, the truth,and the life. no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.' In order to know the Father you must know JESUS. John 14:17 'The Spirit of Truth; Whom the world cannot recieve, because it seeth him not,neither knoweth him; but ye knoweth him,for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.'
This is the promise to the disciples that the same JESUS that dwelleth with them who said in verse 6 that HE is the Truth, shall be in them in the Title of Holy Ghost(Comforter). Mr. Earl God is a Spirit and He is One Spirit, that is (The Spirit of Truth/Holy Spirit). I truly want you to understand this, before you reply pray and search the scriptures with an open mind to recieve from the Lord (Truth/Salvation). Acts 4:12 'There is no other name under Heaven given among men , whereby we must be saved.' Obey Acts 2:38!

UNBELIEVABLE!! I cannot believe Earl said Jesus isn't alive!! Evidently Earl you don't believe Jesus ROSE FROM THE GRAVE. I think you should turn off your tv and open the bible before you make another statement like that. Even trinity folks believe Jesus is alive. And no I DO NOT believe in the trinity. I used to believe in trinity until about 9 years ago. Right after I repented I was continually asking God ' "WHO ARE YOU" I prayed this at least 100 times. Then I moved and got a new job, then soon after someone else was hired, and he saw my bible next to me and asked if I were a christian. The answer was yes. To make a long story short this person had moved all the way across the country to where I was and he bagan to show me who God is. I argued it at first, but soon after I began to pray and seek God's face, and God spoke to me and said "You have repented, but 1 sin has not yet been remitted" So with the scriptures My friend David gave me I began to search. And guess who showed me where I was in error. GOD!! This was a REVELATION from GOD. I know without a shadow of doubt God used this man to show me. And now that this is a revelation from GOD I will NEVER return to the false doctrine of the trinity. This is set in stone forever.
