Trinity
Trinity?
- Where is the word "trinity" in the Bible?
- Where is the word "persons" plural in the Bible in reference to God?
- Where are the terms "God the son" or "God the Holy Spirit" in the Bible?
- Where in the Bible does it say that the son of God is "eternal"?
- If the son was with the Father before he was born in Bethlehem, who was his mother and when was he born?
- If there is a 2nd person of the trinity and he is "God the son", than it is true that God died on the cross.
- If there is a 2nd person of the trinity then we must be able to say that God prayed to God in the garden.
- Is it not true that the basic doctrine of the trinity is that there are three separate persons of God?
- If there are three persons in the Godhead and they are all three God, then we have three separate Gods.
- If there are three persons in the Godhead and they are all three Lord, then we have three separate Lords.
- In Matthew 28:18 Jesus said that all power was given to him. If there is a trinity the other two are powerless, because Jesus was given all power!
- In Matthew 1:18 it says that Mary was "found with child of the Holy Ghost". It also says "that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost" verse 20. If this be true and there is a trinity than the 3nd person, the Holy Ghost must be the real father of Jesus and not the 1st person the Father.
