Trinity God
What the trinity teachers won't tell you is that this doctrine was established by the Roman Catholic church at their Nicene counsel in 325 AD. The trinity doctrine is not biblical in any sense of the word.
Let us do a simple examination of the definition above.
- "three persons" No where in the Bible does it "say" that God is three persons. No where in the Bible does it refer to God as "persons", as plural. Not once!
- "co-existent", "co-eternal" No where in the Bible does it say that the son of God is "eternal". The son of God was born in Bethlehem. In Isaiah 44:24 God said he was alone and by himself at the creation. The son of God is the manifestation of God when he came in flesh. God was manifest in the flesh 1 Tim 3:16. If the son existed before he was born how could he be a son if he were not born in Heaven? If he did exist before he was born in earth where was his first birth and who was his mother? There was no co-existing because God is one in number. The manifestation of the son of God was always in the mind or foreknowledge of God. The Baptists and others need to stop following the Catholics in this pagan teaching. It has always been Satan's scheme to cause the people of God to worship multiple Gods.
- "three persons" If God is three persons and they are separate then we have three Lords! We also have three God's! "God the Father" is a Biblical term. "God the Holy Spirit" and "God the Son" are not Biblical terms. These terms have made God into more than one. He becomes three Gods, three Lords. Three to worship, three to pray to. This is not Biblical. The term "God the son" is not a Biblical term but a Catholic term. The trinity daughters of the Roman Catholic church all have adopted these phrases without serious Bible study. Does it matter what we call God? If it doesn't, then I guess we can call him Allah!
God is one with many manifestations. The most popular are Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These are manifestations of God, not persons. In 1 Timothy 3:16 it says that God was "manifest" in the flesh. The omnipresent God which is a Spirit, John 4:24 robed himself in flesh and came to earth and we call him the son of God. Remember God is a "Spirit", he is not a man. The Holy Spirit and God are also one in the same. God is a Spirit and he is holy making him the Holy Spirit. If God is a Spirit and the Holy Spirit is a Spirit than we have two spirits. Ephesians 4:4 says there is "one Spirit". So in light of the trinity teaching God is at least two spirits, 1st person and 3rd person. As you can simply see this is false teaching. God hates every false way.
